Saved Content
Bookmark courses you want to take later, and manage your saved list.
What is saved content?
Saved content is a personal bookmark list. If you find a course in the catalog but aren't ready to take it yet, save it to come back to later. Your saved courses appear in one easy-to-find place.
Saving a course
You can save courses from two places:
- In the Courses (Catalog) — hover over a course card and click the bookmark icon
- From My Courses — hover over an in-progress course and click the bookmark icon to save it (though you're already enrolled)
Once saved, the bookmark icon fills in to show it's on your list. Save as many courses as you like — there's no limit.
Viewing your saved courses
Click Saved Content under the Manage menu (or on your dashboard if your organization shows it). You'll see all your bookmarked courses.
Each card shows the course title, description, instructor, and duration. Courses are listed in the order you saved them (newest first).
Joining a saved course
When you're ready to start a saved course:
- Go to Saved Content
- Click the course card
- Click Join Course
- You're added to the course and it's removed from your saved list (because now you're taking it)
Removing a saved course
If you change your mind about a course, hover over it in your saved list and click the bookmark icon again to unsave it. It disappears from your saved content but remains available in the catalog if you want to save it again later.
Difference between saved and joined
It's important to understand the difference:
- Saved: You've bookmarked a course but haven't started it. It's on your to-do list.
- Joined: You've clicked "Join Course" and are actively working through it (or have completed it). You can see your progress.
A course can't be both at the same time. Once you join, it moves to My Courses and is removed from your saved list.
Organizing your saved list
Saved courses appear in order of when you saved them (newest first). Some organizations let you sort by category, duration, or instructor. Check if filter options are available on your Saved Content page.
Why save a course?
Saving is useful when:
- You want to remember a course for later without committing to it now
- You're building a learning path and want to collect courses first, then take them in order
- You want to compare a few courses before deciding which one to take
- You're waiting for a prerequisite course to finish before starting this one
