Getting Started

My1Service is a learning platform. Your organization gets its own branded space where you publish courses, members work through them, and everyone's completions and certificates are tracked in one place.

Your organization's own address

Every organization on My1Service lives on its own subdomain. Orbit TVET College, for example, is at orbit-tvet-college.my1service.com. That address is where you sign in, and it’s what makes the space yours — your logo and your brand colour, not a generic one.

You never need to pick an organization from a list after signing in. The subdomain you arrive on decides which organization you’re in, so the login page already knows.

Forgotten your address?

Go to find-organization on the main site, enter the email you signed up with, and you’ll be pointed back to the right subdomain. See Organizations.

Signing in for the first time

1Open your organization’s address and you’ll land on the login page.
2If someone invited you, use the link in your invite email instead — it lets you set your own password and activates the account in one step.
3If your organization allows it, you can also sign yourself up as a member from Create now on the login page.
4Once you’re in, you land on My Dashboard. What you see there depends entirely on your role.

Where to go next, by role

There are three roles, and they see genuinely different apps. Find yours below.

Members are called members, not students

The platform is used by colleges, companies, and nonprofits alike, so the people taking courses are “members” throughout the interface. Behind the scenes the role is still named learner, which is why you’ll occasionally see that word too.

The shape of the app

Wherever you are, the top bar has the same two things: My Dashboard, and a Manage dropdown holding everything else you have access to. On a phone both collapse behind a menu button.

Members get Courses (the catalog) and Saved Content under Manage.
Instructors get Courses and Invite Team Members.
Admins get those plus Reporting.
Settings, Support, and your profile menu are always there, for everyone.
